Beginner's Courses

Interested in trying archery?

Black & Gold beginner's courses will teach you everything you need to know to get started in the sport, including based shooting techniques, the different types of archery, and how tournaments are run.

Our courses cost £60 for four weekly sessions, and are run on Friday evenings, 6:45pm at Tewkesbury CofE Primary School,  GL20 5RQ. See below for our upcoming dates.

Our courses only have a limited number of spaces. However, in case the course you'd like to join is full, or if there's other things that mean you can't come along, you can register your interest here, and we'll be in touch.

REGISTER INTEREST

At the end of the course, we'll give you a certificate that can be used to join any Archery-GB registered club. Of course, we'd love it if you chose Black & Gold!

Unfortunately, due to health & safety reasons, we have a minimum age of 12 for our course participants. All under-18s must be supervised by a parent or guardian (who can also take the course if desired).

Those with accessibility requirements are absolutely welcome - just let us know when you sign up.
